Stars in town is one of the most beautiful and sympathetic festivals in Switzerland. Over 50,000 guests from near and far enjoy great concerts on various stages on the “Piazza Grande” of German Switzerland in the charming Schaffhauser old town. After a two-year break due to the corona pandemic, the festival will return in 2022 with a new style and will, for the first time, last two weeks.

Schaffhausen is known for the wonderful old town and the Rhine Falls (the largest waterfall in Europe). The city has around 35,000 inhabitants. It is also the home base of the famous International Watch Co. (IWC). The international airport, Zurich-Kloten, is only 45 kilometres away.
